Greetings Hunters Fans,

Season 3 is starting to heat up—or should we say ice up? We want to give you an in-depth look at what the Arena has in store for you! Highlights include: the arrival of Pilbush, the new Hoth Frontline battlefield, the Season 3 Arena Pass, the new Arena Vault feature, Emotes, new Limited Time Events, the return of Boulder Bash, and much more!

Pilbush Leaps Into the Arena!

We are thrilled to welcome the Ewok Grenadier Pilbush to the Arena. Pilbush has three active abilities that will make her a cute, but fierce, contender on the battlefield: Throw Wisties, Overload and Cluster Bomb. She also has one passive ability: Mechanical Leap. You can unlock Pilbush by purchasing the All Access Arena Pass to permanently add her to your Hunter roster.

Hoth Frontline Battlefield

Season 3 introduces the latest battlefield to the Arena: Hoth Frontline. Inspired by the iconic Battle of Hoth, this is our biggest and boldest map yet, with both  above ground and underground battlefields where you can compete for glory!

Aran Tal Added to Hunters Path

Aran Tal has been added to the Hunters Path where you can unlock him for free! Gain progress along the path to unlock the Mandalorian hero in Season 3!

Arena Vault

The Arena Vault feature is coming to Hunters in Season 3! This is a new and exciting way for players to obtain and purchase exclusive content.

Season 3 will see the introduction of the new Disguised Trooper Vault for Sentinel. This Vault will be available for all players at the start of the Season and will continue to be available to new players in future Seasons. Rieve’s Frozen Sith Vault and J-3DI’s Surgical Jedi Vault will also be available from the start of the Season. Over the course of the Season, look out for other Arena Vaults, which will arrive mid-Season, including Tauntaun Rebel Vault for our new Hunter Pilbush, and Wookiee Champion Vault for Grozz. While the Disguised Trooper Vault will be available in future Seasons, other Arena Vaults will only be available for a limited time during the Season they appear so make sure you don’t miss out!

How to Access Arena Vaults

Arena Vaults are unlocked after you complete 5 matches. Arena Vaults will appear in the Home Screen banner carousel and within the Arena Vault section of the Shop.      

How Does it Work?

Each Vault contains 10 cosmetic-only items of varying rarity. Each item has a set probability that it will be rewarded, this can be seen in the “MORE INFO” pop-up. To open a Vault, players must click on the draw button and pay the price of the draw displayed there. For Season 3 the first draw for each Vault will cost 0 Crystals. After a Vault has been opened and the player has received their reward, that item is removed from the prize pool, the cost of the next draw increases, and the probability of receiving the remaining rewards also increases. If you do 10 draws for a Vault, it will be guaranteed that you will receive all 10 rewards in the Vault.

Bonus Reward

Next to the draw button, there is information about a bonus reward that players are able to earn if they open a Vault a specific number of times.

Exclusive Content

A number of cosmetics within Arena Vaults are exclusive to Arena Vaults meaning they can only ever be received within an Arena Vault. These cosmetics are clearly indicated with a gold “Exclusive” badge. Arena Vaults will be active for a set period of time each Season.

Already Owned Content

If you already own a cosmetic and unlock that same cosmetic by paying for a draw, you will be refunded the cost of that Arena Vault Draw . If you unlock a cosmetic you already own using a free draw, you will be granted another free draw.

Limited Time Events

There is a ton of new content coming in Season 3! An all-new spooky event, a new Clash Event, the return of Boulder Bash and loads of other exciting Seasonal events to play.  

Boulder Bash

Boulder Bash is back this Season! Grozz-only Squads, quick Ultimate charges, and a lot of boulders! Make sure you don't get crushed in the frey!

Shadow Night Festival

Keeping the spirit of all things creepy alive, the Arena kicks off its inaugural Shadow Night Festival!  Go to the store to claim a free spooky sticker and play the Crushing Gorax and Sneaking Dulok Events. 

Clash Event: “Rebel War Machine”

Pilbush has summoned her strength and is taking the fight to Sentinel! This buckethead will rue the day he crossed Pilbush and her explosive AT-ET!

New Events:  “A New Alliance” and “Always a Rebel”

Diago and Grozz look to start a beautiful alliance while rebellion hero Zaina and rebel superfan Pilbush fight together!

Our very first set of emotes are available in Season 3 and you can pick up the cheeky “Get Lost” for our favorite dark side warrior Rieve!

All Access Arena Pass

Along with unlocking Pilbush, there are a whole host of other rewards you can earn by purchasing an All Access Arena Pass and playing matches. Rewards include new Costumes, Weapon Wraps, Victory Poses, Avatars, Stickers, and premium Seasonal Challenges!

If you’re looking for even MORE benefits, the VIP Pass can be purchased to gain access to everything from the free and All Access Passes, as well as automatically skipping forward 14 Tiers in the Arena Pass to boost your progress! 

And if you want to supercharge your Arena Pass progress even further, you can also purchase Tier Skips. Tier Skips will advance you up the Tiers as you purchase them, allowing you to collect all the available rewards along the way. You can purchase as many Tier Skips as you want each Season.
